Toast Like a Butterfly


  • 2 Slices Wheat Bread
  • 1 Cheese Stick
  • 2 Slices Orange Bell Pepper
  • 2 Thin Slices of Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Avocado, Mashed
  • 1 Sugar Snap Pea
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 6 California Black Ripe Olives
  • 3 California Green Ripe Olives


  • Large Butterfly Cookie Cutter


  1. Lightly toast two slices of wheat bread and use a large cookie cutter to cut one wing from each slice of bread
  2. Mash avocado and mix with salt and pepper to taste. Spread on both wings
  3. Measure a cheese stick and slice to fit in between wings, to act as the body of the butterfly
  4. Slice an orange bell pepper into antenna, and a red bell pepper into thin slices to line the body of the butterfly
  5. Slice California Black Ripe Olives in half, lengthways, and place on the upper and lower halves of each wing. Slice the remaining olives into rounds, and place on the middle of each wing.
  6. Decorate the plate with quartered California Green Ripe Olives, and place a sugar snap pea in the center
  7. Enjoy your California Ripe Olive avocado toast!
