Sweet Sausage Fusilli


  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 ounces sweet Italian poultry sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch thick half moons
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped oregano
  • Kosher salt and crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • Broccoli florets, blanched
  • 1 cup California Black Ripe Olives, whole, pitted
  • 1 cup cooked fusilli pasta
  • 4 cups shaved parmesan cheese


  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir in sausage and oregano, and season to taste with salt and pepper flakes.
  3. Cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Mix in broccoli, California Ripe Olives and pasta and cook until heated through.
  5. Toss with remaining olive oil and top with parmesan cheese just before serving.
