Back Porch Beer cocktail


  • 1 1/2 ounces Patrón Silver™ (or other high-quality tequila)
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce California Ripe Olive brine
  • 1/4 ounce homemade sweet ‘n’ sour mix
  • 1 pinch prepared pico de gallo
  • 5 ounces Mexican beer
  • 1 count lime wedge (garnish)
  • 1 count California Ripe Olive (garnish)


In a shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila, lime juice, California Ripe Olive brine, sweet ‘n’ sour mix and pico de gallo. Shake for several seconds until well mixed. Strain into a chilled glass and add beer. Garnish with a lime wedge and one California Ripe Olive.
