Mac ‘N Cheese with Olives and Peas


  • 2 cups cooked broccoli florets
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup California Black Ripe Olives, sliced
  • 8 ounces whole grain pasta, cooked
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese


  1. Heat broccoli, peas, cream and chicken broth to a boil in a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Turn down to a simmer and add California Ripe Olives.
  3. Toss in pasta and cook for 3-4 minutes over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in cheese, then season to taste with salt and pepper if necessary.
