Bacon Olive Appetizer
Makes 12 servings
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup California Ripe Olives, drained and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 12 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 loaf French baguette or French bread, sliced 1/2-inch thick
Directions
- Stir together cheese, olives, mayonnaise, bacon and onion in a medium bowl.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet and broil for 1 minute or until golden brown.
- Spread olive mixture on toasted side of each bread slice and broil again for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
