Walking in Toasty Wonderland

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices of White Bread, Toasted
  • 2 Tbsp Cream Cheese
  • 5 Slices of Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Very Small Slice of Orange Bell Pepper
  • 1 Small Sugar Snap Pea
  • 1 Large Sugar Snap Pea
  • 1 Pretzel Stick, Cut in Half
  • 4 Slices White Cheese such as Gouda or White Cheddar
  • 8 Cilantro or Parsley Leaves
  • 2 California Black Ripe Olives, 1 jumbo and 1 medium
  • 3 California Green Ripe Olive Rounds

  • Large Snowflake Cookie Cutter

Directions

  1. Slice one piece of toast into a circle with a 4-inch diameter
  2. Slice the second piece of toast into a half circle with a 4-inch diameter, this will act as the base of the snow globe
  3. Spread 1 tbsp cream cheese onto the bottom 1/5 of the circular toast
  4. Cover the base of the snow globe with slices of bell pepper, cut to the correct width
  5. Stack the medium California Black Ripe Olive on top of the jumbo California Black Ripe Olive and affix to the toast with cream cheese
  6. Add decorations to the olive snowman by affixing two small sugar snap peas to the body of the snowman, pretzel stick arms to the sides, a small piece of orange bell pepper for the nose, two small dots of cream cheese for eyes
  7. Decorate the base with three California Green Ripe Olive rounds and three sugar snap peas in the center
  8. Use the cookie cutters to cut 4 small snowflakes and 4 large snowflakes out of slices of cheese. Arrange these snowflakes around the outside of the plate and place cilantro leaves between each snowflake.
