Tapenade

MeasureIngredient
3/4 cupCalifornia Ripe Olives, chopped
1 Tbsp.Chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp.Finely grated fresh carrots
2 Tbsp.Chopped frozen green peas
1 Tbsp.Finely chopped onion
1 Tbsp.Finely chopped red pepper
2 dropsRed pepper sauce
1/2 tsp.Minced fresh garlic
1 Tbsp.Lemon juice
1/2 tsp.Italian seasoning
1 tsp.Fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1Finely chopped plum tomato
1 tsp.Spicy mustard
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl; mix well. For a smooth texture, place all ingredients, unchopped, in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Garnish with a parsley sprig and an olive. Makes about 1 cup. Note: for spicier taste, add more red pepper sauce. For middle eastern flavor, add curry powder. For a southwestern flair, add chili or cayenne pepper.
