A combo of all the favorites: ground meat, California Ripe Olives, ketchup and cheese is so much better than anything you could find at a drive-thru window. Make a whole batch, or double it and stuff them in your freezer until hunger sets in. Stick 'em in a 375 degree oven for a few minutes or a microwave for 1-2 minutes and, I can assure you, reheating has never felt so satisfying.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Heat oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat. Add turkey, season to taste with salt and pepper and cook for 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Combine with California Ripe Olives, cheddar and ketchup. Set aside.
Divide bread dough into 12-1 ounce balls. Allow to sit for 15-20 minutes, then flatten into discs. Place a heaping tablespoon of turkey mixture into the center of each disc and pull sides around to enclose. Place stuffed dough balls into lightly greased muffin tins, sealed side facing up. Allow rolls to rest for 20 minutes, then bake for 13-15 minutes until golden. Serve with plenty of extra ketchup for dipping. Makes a dozen buns.
* You can also purchase frozen dough that is already in the form of 1 ounce "rolls" which is even easier.
