A combo of all the favorites: ground meat, California Ripe Olives, ketchup and cheese is so much better than anything you could find at a drive-thru window. Make a whole batch, or double it and stuff them in your freezer until hunger sets in. Stick ‘em in a 375 degree oven for a few minutes or a microwave for 1-2 minutes and, I can assure you, reheating has never felt so satisfying.

California Turkey Burger
  • 1 1/4 pounds Turkey, ground
  • 3/4 cup California Black Ripe Olives, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Thyme, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic, Chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 (3 oz.) Whole grain hamburger buns
  • 2 ounce Goat cheese, crumbled
Combine ground turkey, 1/2 cup California Ripe Olives, thyme, garlic and Worcestershire sauce in a large mixing bowl. Form into 4 patties and grill over medium high heat for 4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Top with goat cheese and continue cooking for 1 more minute. While burgers are cooking, slice buns in half and place on grill until lightly toasted, then transfer to serving plates. Place one cooked burger on the bottom half of each bun. Top with remaining California Ripe Olives and bun. Serves 4. Serving Suggestion: Garnish with baby lettuce, red onions and Dijon mustard.
